Hyderabad’s Female Officers Reach Out to Communities Ahead of Upcoming Elections

Hyderabad(Nov, 8) : In anticipation of the TSLA elections scheduled for November 30th, 2023, the Chief of Police in Hyderabad, CP Hyderabad, has taken proactive measures. To engage with and ensure the safety of the local communities, senior lady officers have been directed to interact with the women residing in the Rowdies area.This essential initiative has seen the deployment of dedicated lady officers to various zones.

Pushpa, DCP ICCC, covers the Central zone, while D Prasanna Laxmi, ACP Women Safety, addresses the East Zone area. Smt. Chandana Deepthi IPS, DCP NZ, is responsible for the North zone, and K. Shilpavali IPS, DCP CCS, oversees the South zone. Nitika Pant IPS, DCP TF NZ, is assigned to the South West area, D. Kavita, DCP Women Safety, takes charge of the South East area, and D Sunita Reddy, DCP TSNAB, covers the West zone. These lady officers engage in heartfelt conversations with the women, urging them to stay home after work and counsel their families to do the same, especially until the elections are over.

Alongside these officers, zonal women SIs and armed forces accompany them during these interaction programs, which are scheduled from 7:00 am to 10:00 am and then from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. These officers have already made significant progress by reaching out to approximately 100 families today, ensuring the safety and well-being of the community during this crucial period.
