Hyderabad : Today, Hyderabad once again witnessed the third edition of Cycle Revolution (HCR), an initiative to spread awareness about active mobility, which includes walking, running, cycling or using public transport. More than two thousand participants attended the parade ground, Secunderabad, who reached there by bicycle from their homes and joined this cycle revolution. Children as well as people of all ages participated in this event.
Event Organized by Hyderabad’s Cycle Mayor Santhana Selvan, the event aims to promote walking, cycling and public transport in the city. Selvan says that he is getting support from the people of Hyderabad as well as many big companies including the Telangana government, Telangana police, metro officials and RTC for such an event.
During the event, all the participants took a pledge for active mobility in Hyderabad. So that Hyderabad can be made pollution free.
These efforts by Santhana Selvan and the team at HCR towards promoting active mobility in Hyderabad are commendable, and it is imperative that citizens take this initiative to reduce traffic congestion and pollution in the city.
