SOT LB Nagar Zone Team & LB Nagar Police apprehended four persons with an unaccounted Rs. 1.9 Crore Rupees, who are trying to cheat the complainant with a promise of providing Rs 2000 Currency Notes (20% extra) in exchange of Rs 500 Notes.

- Shaik Roshan Mahaboob, S/o. Sk. Mahaboob Sahab, age: 40 years, Occ: Hotel Business, R/o: H no: 16-201, Balaji Nagar, Panagal Post, Srikalahasthi, Chithoor Dist. (Previously he was involved in Crime No: 135/209 U/s. 120-B, 489-A,B,C,D, 420 r/w 34 IPC of LB Nagar PS, Rachakonda.)
- Kolampally Srinivas, S/o. Venkateshwar Rao, age: 45 years, Occ: Mason, R/o: Himagiri Colony, Suncity, Narsingi, Hyderabad.
- Bingi Vasu, S/o. Rangaiah, Age: 44 years, Occ: Travels Business, R/o: Bharath Nagar Colony, Uppal, Hyderabad.
- Singamshetty Ramulu, S/o. Vinod Kumar, age: 40 years, Occ: Real Estate, R/o: Blind Colony, Near Nagole bus stop, LB Nagar, Hyderabad.
The accused persons contacted the complainant and stated that the central government is likely to ban Rs 2000 Indian Currency Notes and they have huge amount/ quantity of Rs 2000 Notes if he provides Rs 500 notes they will pay 20% extra amount and lured the complainant. On hearing the version of the accused the complainant secured money about 1.9 Crore from his friends and relatives and informed the same to the accused. 15th April morning the accused came to the complainant near LB Nagar Metro station and were planning to knock away the amount by cheating. On information the SOT LB Nagar Team and LB Nagar Police apprehended above four persons along with the Cash about 1.9 Crore.
