Dynamic Efforts by Hyderabad Police Result in Safe Return of Mentally Challenged Individuals from Gujarat

Hyderabad(Jan, 1) : In a commendable effort to extend a helping hand to the homeless, poor, and challenged individuals, the benevolent Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy IPS, took a significant initiative. Under the dynamic supervision of Joint CP Crimes & SIT and the dedicated efforts of DCP Women Safety Wing, a team was dispatched to Manav Jyot Ashramam in Kutch Bhuj, Gujarat. This noble mission, executed with the assistance of Senior Journalist Geetha from Hyderabad, resulted in the rescue of four Telugu psychopaths/mentally challenged victims. The individuals, namely Asvarya (55 years old), Gopu (Lakshmi, 48 years old), Sweeti (41 years old), and Nura (45 years old), were under the care of MANAV JYOT NGO in Gujarat.

Through extraordinary efforts, the team ensured their safe transportation to Hyderabad under police escort. Upon arrival, the victims were handed over to the responsible and compassionate Sayodhya Home for Women in Need NGO, which volunteered to provide care and support. Inspector AHTU, Ravi, diligently monitored the team throughout the operation. This heartwarming initiative calls for collective solidarity and support for the physically and mentally challenged individuals, emphasizing the importance of compassion and community involvement.

DCP Women Safety Wing encourages everyone to join hands in reaching out to those in need and promoting the well-being of vulnerable members in our society.
