Hyderabad : Today, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Telangana celebrated Doctors Day at its office in Koti, Hyderabad. During the event, tributes were paid to Dr. BC Roy, a Bharat Ratna awardee known for his significant contributions as a physician, philanthropist, educationist, and one of India’s longest-serving Chief Ministers.
The event saw the presence of many eminent personalities from the medical field in Hyderabad and Telangana. Doctors Day, observed annually on July 1st, honors Dr. BC Roy’s legacy and the relentless efforts of doctors who continue to improve healthcare in India. The IMA Hyderabad City branch recognized the contributions of several distinguished doctors, Journalists, Social workers, and police officers at the event.
Among those present were IMA Telangana President Dr. TV Srinivas, Secretary Dr. Minhajzafar, Treasurer Dr. S Vijaya Kumar, and Dr. Sanjeev Yadav, along with other dignitaries.
