DGP Telangana Inaugurates Child-Friendly Corner and Bharosa Centre in Sangareddy

Sangareddy(Oct, 7) : DGP Telangana, Anjani Kumar IPS, marked a significant day in Sangareddy by inaugurating two crucial initiatives aimed at enhancing safety and support systems in the region. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Addl DGP Women Safety Wing, Telangana, Shikha Goel IPS, SP Sangareddy Ramna Kumar, and dedicated staff members.

One of the noteworthy initiatives unveiled during the ceremony was the launch of a Child-Friendly Corner at the Sangareddy Town Police Station. This innovative initiative is designed to provide a secure and comforting environment for children who may require assistance or support during challenging situations. The Child-Friendly Corner stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment to safeguarding the welfare and rights of our youngest citizens.

In another significant development, a Bharosa Centre was inaugurated for Sangareddy District. The Bharosa Centre serves as a dedicated facility to offer comprehensive support and assistance to victims of crime, with a particular focus on women and children. It serves as a safe haven where individuals can seek help, guidance, and counseling during times of distress.

 

DGP Telangana, Anjani Kumar IPS, expressed his dedication to these initiatives, stating, “These initiatives represent our unwavering commitment to creating a safer and more secure environment for our residents, especially women and children. The Child-Friendly Corner and Bharosa Centre will play pivotal roles in ensuring immediate assistance and support to those in need.”
