Medak(May, 24) : District Collector Rajarshi Shah has directed the officials to organize the Telangana Statehood Decade celebrations in the entire district with great success. He said that on the occasion of completion of nine years of the formation of separate Telangana state by June and going into the 10th spring, the state government has announced a schedule to undertake various programs by various departments from June 2 to 23, in a festive atmosphere for 21 days. Constituency Special Officers and District Officers should work in coordination, concerned R.D.O.
As part of the decade celebrations, Incarnation celebrations on 2nd June, Telangana Farmers Day on 3rd, Safety Day on 4th, Electricity Victory Day on 5th, Industrial Progress Festival on 6th, Irrigation Day on 7th, Urura Ponds Festival on 8th, Welfare Sambara on 9th, Good Governance Day on 10th, Sahitya Day on 11th, Telangana Run on 12th, Women Welfare on 13th, Medical Health on 14th, Rural Development on 15th, Urban Development on 16th, Tribal Festival on 17th, Manchinila Festival on 18th, Green Festival on 19th, Education on 20th, Spiritual Day on 21st and lastly on 22nd of June there will be commemoration programs of Martyrs. Collector said.
District officials, Venkata Sailesh, Srinivas, DSP Saidulu, Radhakishan, Raji Reddy, Krishnamurthy, Saibaba, Vasamha Naik, Qasim, Chinna Sailu, Kamalakar, Jayaraj, Chandu Naik, Janaki Ram Sagar, Razak, Asha Kumari, Karuna, Indira, Rajini and other officials participated.
