Sircilla(Sep, 27): During the inauguration of 369 2BHK Dignity houses in four villages of Gambhiraopet Mandal, Sircilla, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KTR took the opportunity to highlight the Congress party’s shortcomings. He emphasized that while Congress makes grand guarantees, they come with no warranty of fulfilling them. KTR credited the resolution of the water crisis in Sircilla to the Kaleshwaram water project, which has successfully filled the region’s reservoirs. He also expressed his satisfaction in interacting with students at the KG to PG campus of Gambhiraopet in English.
In his critique of the Congress party, KTR pointed out their 65-year tenure during which they failed to provide essential services such as water, electricity, and pensions to the people, especially the poor. He warned that if Congress were to come to power in Telangana, it would lead to a series of problems, including power shortages for farmers, water scarcity, fertilizer shortages, frequent changes in the Chief Minister’s position, diminished Gram Panchayats, and a compromised education and healthcare system.
KTR further criticized Congress for making empty promises, citing their inability to provide Rs. 4000 pensions in other states, despite pledging to do so in Telangana. He also addressed local allegations against him, stating that some leaders were spreading misinformation for their own gain and advised voters to prioritize the BRS party over others who might offer monetary incentives during elections
