Hyderabad(July, 14) : The Commissioner’s Task Force, South-East Zone Team, in collaboration with the staff of Shah Ali Banda Police Station, apprehended a person named Khaja Muzammil Uddin. He was posing as a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) doctor and treating patients at Oxygen Dental Clinic in Hyderabad. It was discovered that he had fabricated a fake BDS certificate from the Karnataka State Dental Council. Along with Khaja Muzammil Uddin, another individual named Syed Abdul Aslam was arrested for creating the fake certificate.
The authorities seized various items, including the forged certificate, dental treatment equipment, patient records, and mobile phones. The investigation revealed that Khaja Muzammil Uddin had worked as a dental assistant at Miswak Dental Hospital before devising the plan to impersonate a certified dentist. He obtained the fake certificate in 2020 and joined Oxygen Dental Clinic, where he deceived both the hospital authorities and patients while making substantial profits. Additionally, he fraudulently obtained trade licenses from GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) and certificates from the Labor Department using the forged BDS certificate, thereby defrauding the governments of Telangana and Karnataka. The arrests were carried out under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police (OSD) P. RadhaKishan Rao and executed by the South-East Zone Task Force team, along with the Shah Ali Banda Police staff.
