Hyderabad(Dec, 22) : Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, reflecting on his earlier prediction of a December miracle for Telangana, joined the Christmas celebrations organized by the Telangana Government at LB Stadium on Friday. Addressing the gathering, the CM highlighted December as a month traditionally associated with miracles worldwide, and true to his prediction, Telangana experienced its own miracle this December, with the formation of a new government fulfilling the aspirations of Christians and minorities.
Drawing parallels with recent developments in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh, where secular governments were established, CM Revanth Reddy emphasized the significant responsibility bestowed upon the people. He urged citizens to support the Congress in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections to secure power at the center. The CM criticized the BJP for neglecting the Manipur incident during the elections, where AICC senior leader Rahul Gandhi was prevented from visiting victims of ethnic violence. He stressed the collective responsibility to prevent such incidents across the country.
“Our government’s primary objective is to assist the helpless and provide opportunities to the deserving. The Indiramma regime in Telangana is dedicated to the development of the poorer sections, ensuring the benefits of welfare schemes reach those in need. We see ourselves as servants, not rulers, with Jesus Christ as our role model. We will move forward without forgetting our responsibility,” stated CM Revanth Reddy.
He encouraged citizens to bring their problems to the government’s attention, assuring that the State Secretariat’s doors are open to everyone, and every issue will be addressed. During the celebration, CM Revanth Reddy presented awards to individuals and organizations excelling in various fields. The event was attended by State Assembly Speaker G. Prasad Kumar, BC Welfare Minister P. Prabhakar, DGP Ravi Gupta, former minister Shabbir Ali, Anjan Kumar Yadav, Christian religious leaders, pastors, and officials
