Telangana State will have a new land mark with the opening of Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat building
Hyderabad : Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat building, which will be inaugurated by CM KCR on April 30, is a resounding testaments to the state’s commitment to preserve its heritage and history. The sprawling new structure on the banks of Hussain Sagar with a unique architectural attraction. The new design depicts the Deccan-Kakatiya architecture and culture expressing Telangana’s quintessence, with all the Indian Green Building Council norms.
The building’s multiple domes of various sizes are implemented using structural steel ribs and concrete, and the elevation’s façade and aesthetic design elements are executed with glass-reinforced concrete.
The Chief Minister’s Floor is on the 7th floor and is designed to be Vastu compliant for the Chief Minister’s chambers, cabinet meeting hall, chief secretary, advisors, private secretaries, support staff, VIP waiting areas and a separate Chief Minister safe entry and drop-off .
After the inauguration, 350 TSSP cadre, 300 Armed Reserve (CAR) and over 650 SPF personnel will be deployed along with law and order police security. Visitors to the secretariat will not be allowed entry without prior permission and 300 CCTV cameras will monitor their movement. A special command control center has also been set up to oversee the situation, and two fire brigades and 34 personnel will be deployed for duty in the premises.
