Hyderabad(Oct, 1) : The Milad processions in the city were a display of fervent religious devotion, with thousands of participants enthusiastically taking part, whether on bikes, four-wheelers, or on foot, as they traversed through significant intersections. The City Police Commissioner, CV Anand, assumed command at the inter-department control center at TSPICC, overseeing CCTV feeds and drone visuals while issuing instructions to field deputies.
The primary procession embarked from Quadri Chaman and followed a route through key arteries like Enginebowli and Nagal Chintha, eventually reaching Charminar around noon. At Charminar, the Kotwal and other senior officials extended their greetings to the members of the Milad Julus. Police personnel worked diligently to keep the procession route clear, and traffic teams effectively managed critical junctions. Simultaneously, tributary processions in various zones were under close surveillance. The presence of key officers, including Vikram Singh Mann (Addl. CP – Law & Order), G. Suddeer Babu (Addl. CP – Traffic), P. Viswaprasad (Addl. CP – Special Branch), South Zone DCP Saichaitanya, and others, added to the efficient management of the event.
