Hyderabad : A specialized workshop aimed at enhancing the investigation of Life Insurance Frauds was recently organized for officers of the Crime Investigation Department (CID) in Telangana. The event, sponsored by Bajaj Alliance Insurance, was inaugurated by Mahesh Bhagwat-IPS, the Additional Director General of CID in Telangana.
During his opening address, Bhagwat underscored the crucial importance of equipping police officers with updated and improved investigation skills to effectively combat the diverse challenges posed by insurance fraud. The workshop was skillfully conducted by a team of experts, including Anil PM, Head of Legal and Chief Compliance, Nirmal Paul, Head of the Fraud Prevention Unit, and Raghvender Angali. This comprehensive training session was attended by all Senior Superintendents of Police (SsP) and other senior officers within the CID, reinforcing the commitment to tackling insurance fraud with greater proficiency
