Cheques Distributed: Minorities Benefit from 100% Subsidy Scheme in Telangana

Hyderabad(Aug, 19): The State government initiated the ‘Economic Support Scheme’ for Minorities, extending a remarkable 100 percent subsidy opportunity across the entire state. The distribution of cheques under the 100% Subsidy Scheme was a momentous event led by Mohd. Imtiyaz Ishaq, Chairman of TSMFC. Accompanied by Minorities Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar and Home Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali, they personally presented the cheques to beneficiaries at a program held at LB Stadium. Facilitated through the Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation, this comprehensive scheme aims to empower the minority community.

The scheme encompasses the distribution of 100 percent subsidy cheques, providing financial support of up to Rs. 1 lakh, benefiting a total of 3508 minority beneficiaries. The criteria for eligibility dictate that the financial assistance be granted to a single member within each family. Additionally, applicants must fall within the age bracket of 21 to 55 years as of June 2, 2023.

Distinguished figures including Prabhakar Rao, MLC, Ahmed Balala, Malakpet MLA, Jaffar Hussain Meraj, Nampally MLA, Kousar Moinuddin Karwan, MLA, Mirza Riyaz ul Hassan Effendi, MLC, Maganti Gopinath MLA Jubilee Hills, Mohd Saleem, Chairman Haj House, Tariq Ansari, Chairman Telangana State Minority Commission, Masiullah Khan, Chairman TSWB, D Rajeshwar Rao, Chairman Telangana State Christian Minorities Welfare Department, A K Khan, Advisor to Minorities Welfare, Omer Jaleel, Secretary to Minorities Welfare Department, and various other officials, participated wholeheartedly in this impactful program.
