Hyderabad : Today marked a significant transition as Dr. Sunil S. Hiremath, IFS, Deputy Conservator of Forest, previously stationed as Divisional Forest Officer in Nirmal, officially assumed the role of Curator at Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad. This change in leadership relieved Prashant Bajirao Patil, IFS, from his position as Curator.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Sunil S. Hiremath expressed his enthusiasm for serving wildlife and viewing this role as a privilege and a remarkable opportunity. He conveyed his commitment to enhance and develop the Zoo, particularly in light of the upcoming Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Nehru Zoological Park in October. He lauded the dedication of the executive team and supportive staff, recognizing their hard work to establish the Zoo as one of the finest in the nation.
Following his official assumption of the Curator role, Dr. Sunil S. Hiremath met with V.S.N.V Prasad, IFS, Conservator of Forests and Director of Zoo Parks in Telangana, Hyderabad, at his chamber within Nehru Zoological Park. A. Nagamani, Deputy Curator of Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad, was also present during this engagement.
