BRS Leaders Criticize Congress Government for Neglecting Minority Welfare

Hyderabad : BRS Minority Wing Leader & Former Corporation Chairman, Imtiyaz Ishaq, along with BRS leaders B. Srinivas Yadav and Mohammed Ali Danish, addressed a press meet. They expressed concerns over the current Congress government, which has been in power for eight months, stating that not a single review has been conducted for the welfare of minorities. They criticized the government for not voicing any support for minorities and accused them of making false promises to secure votes. Despite these promises, not a single minority representative has been appointed to a post, including ministerial or MLC positions.

In contrast, when the BRS government was formed, minorities received significant support, with Mahmood Ali being appointed as the Revenue Minister. The leaders pointed out that election promises made to minorities were misleading, particularly the pledge to create a sub-plan and allocate 4000 crores.
