Hyderabad :Â BRS Working President KTR responded firmly to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comments during his visit to Telangana, emphasizing that the BRS party is a massive family of four crore people in the state, with CM KCR at its helm. He praised CM KCR’s role as a father figure, providing pensions to the elderly and supporting farmers through initiatives like Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema. KTR asserted that KCR holds a special place in every Telangana family.
KTR did not hold back in criticizing PM Modi’s actions, accusing him of attempting to privatize Singareni coal mines and state-run companies, which he believed would benefit corporate allies like Adani. He also refuted PM Modi’s claim that CM KCR hadn’t waived farm loans, pointing out that KCR had done so twice and urged the Prime Minister to refrain from baseless allegations.
In a satirical vein, KTR noted the public’s nickname for the Prime Minister as “Adani” and confidently predicted that the BJP would not secure deposits in the upcoming Telangana elections. He also took a swipe at the Congress party, suggesting that if they were to come to power, it would bring about three guarantees: three-hour daily power supply, an annual change of the Chief Minister, and an increase in corruption scandals.
Regarding the Congress party’s promises of increased pensions, KTR expressed skepticism, highlighting that they had provided only Rs 200 as pension for six decades, making their recent pledge of Rs 4000 seem less credible to the people. He cautioned the public to be wary of politicians from various parties who make grandiose promises ahead of elections, likening them to singers who visit homes before festivals.
KTR made these remarks during his participation in development programs in Chennur, Ramagundem, and Peddapalli constituencies, where he also celebrated the progress achieved in Telangana under CM KCR’s leadership. He thanked Singareni Collieries employees for their role in the state’s formation and acknowledged the government’s efforts in providing increments and job opportunities, benefiting many.
