Hyderabad(Aug, 28) :Â The BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samiti) organization has extended financial assistance of Rs 1.5 crore to the family members of the renowned folk singer and former chairman of Telangana State Warehousing Corporation, V Saichand. In a significant gesture, Saichand’s wife, Rajini, was presented with a cheque amounting to Rs. 1 crore, while another cheque of Rs. 50 lakh was handed over to Saichand’s parents and sister in Mahbubnagar.
Carrying out the directives of BRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, accompanied by MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy, Zilla Parishad Chairperson Anitha Reddy, and BRS State Leader Dasoju Sravan, visited Saichand’s residence in Gurramguda on Monday.
During the visit, they offered a cheque of Rs 1 crore to Rajini, who currently holds the position of the chairperson of the Telangana State Warehousing Corporation. Rajini expressed her gratitude on the occasion, extending her thanks to Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao for his steadfast support to their family.
