Hyderabad : NV Subhash, Telangana State BJP spokesperson, made a strong accusation today, claiming that the relatives of top BRS (Bathini Rama Krishna Rao) leaders have been involved in blatant land grab in the city while misusing their power. The irony lies in the fact that the incident of land grab, involving the forgery of a land owner’s signature, only came to light after a court instructed the police to file a complaint against the sons of BRS Secretary General and MP K. Keshav Rao.
The Banjara Hills police have since registered a case against K. Viplav Kumar and K. Venkateshwar Rao, the sons of MP Keshav Rao. Subhash alleged that Viplav Kumar, the younger son, forged the signature of a land owner residing in the United States. He further claimed that the police were hesitant to register a case initially due to the influential background of the perpetrators, who are associated with MP Keshav Rao. Ultimately, it was the land owner who sought recourse in a city court, leading to the court’s directive for the police to take action. Subhash emphasized that Municipal Minister KTR should respond to the public regarding the alleged misuse of power and influence over the police by the kin of BRS leaders.
