Indian Constitution Day Observed at DGP Office–
Hyderabad : To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution, the DGP Office hosted a special Constitution Day event on Tuesday. Additional DGP (Law and Order) Mahesh M. Bhagwat, the chief guest, highlighted the historic adoption of the Constitution on November 26, 1949, and paid homage to visionaries like Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Babu Rajendra Prasad. He emphasized the Constitution’s role in upholding justice, equality, and freedom.
During the event, IGP (P&L) M. Ramesh recited the Preamble of the Constitution and led all attendees in taking a pledge, reiterating their commitment to uphold the Constitution and its values.
The program witnessed participation from senior officers, including IGP Railway and Road Safety Ramesh Naidu, AIG Ramana Kumar, SP Legal CH. Satish, as well as numerous police personnel and staff from the DGP’s office.
