Young Wildlife Enthusiast Yuvaan S Hiremath Adopts Seven Animals on His 7th Birthday at Nehru Zoological Park
Hyderabad : Today, Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad celebrated a unique birthday event where a true animal lover, Yuvaan S Hiremath, adopted seven species of animals on his 7th birthday. Inspired by his wildlife-loving parents, Yuvaan chose to adopt an African Lioness (Adishna), a Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros (Nanda), a Crocodile, an Owl, an Ostrich, a Wolf, and a Lion-tailed macaque for a month. This heartwarming gesture was marked by the handing over of a cheque for Rs. 75,000 to the Director (FAC) & Curator of the zoo for the welfare of these animals. Yuvaan expressed his pride in becoming an adopter and emphasized the importance of wildlife conservation, urging other children to take similar initiatives.
The Director thanked Yuvaan for his contribution and highlighted the zoo’s adoption scheme, which allows citizens to adopt animals for periods ranging from one day to a year, with the benefits of income tax exemptions and CSR donations. Interested individuals and companies can find more information and participate in this scheme through the zoo’s website.
