Hyderabad(Oct, 29) : Dr. Dasoju Sravan, a senior leader within the BRS party, strongly criticized Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shiva Kumar for what he saw as an attempt to deceive the people of Telangana with false promises and misleading statements. Dr. Sravan’s remarks came in response to DK Shiva Kumar’s recent speech in Tandur, where he accused the Karnataka Deputy CM of interfering in Telangana’s elections while his own party’s government in Karnataka was facing significant challenges.
In a scathing assessment, Dr. Sravan referred to DK Shiva Kumar and TPCC president Revanth Reddy as “twin thieves” and urged the people of Telangana to be vigilant against the Congress party’s deceptive tactics. He pointed out that DK Shiva Kumar, whom he described as one of the most corrupt politicians in India, was campaigning for Congress in Telangana, even though the Karnataka government had failed to fulfill its election promises. Dr. Sravan accused DK Shiva Kumar of attempting to mislead the people of Telangana with unrealistic assurances.
Dr. Sravan highlighted the stark differences in governance and development between Telangana and Karnataka. He pointed out that Telangana, under Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s leadership, had made significant strides in various sectors, such as agriculture, welfare programs, and infrastructure development. He stressed that Telangana had become a prosperous state with a well-balanced approach to development and welfare.
Dr. Sravan also provided statistics to illustrate the disparities between the two states, such as agricultural acreage, paddy production, cleanliness, and IT exports. He challenged DK Shiva Kumar to visit Telangana to experience the state’s comprehensive development model firsthand, emphasizing that Telangana, under CM KCR’s governance, had outperformed Karnataka in many aspects.
