Nizamabad : MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha, in a recent media interaction in Bodhan, referred to Rahul Gandhi as “Election Gandhi” due to his upcoming visit to Telangana and Nizamabad. She criticized his periodic interest in Telangana, stating that he tends to think of the state only during election seasons. Kavitha emphasized the need for politicians visiting the state to do more than just making speeches and then leaving. She highlighted the progress and development achieved under Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s leadership, mentioning the completion of projects that had been pending for generations.
Kavitha questioned the effectiveness of the Congress party’s rule, noting that the BRS government, led by CM KCR, prioritized the welfare of backward classes and brought about significant changes. She also called for maintaining communal harmony and criticized the opposition’s response to CM KCR’s manifesto. Kavitha urged leaders to consider who they should trust – those who engage in politics only during elections or those who consistently work for the people. Kavitha also brought up the issue of communal riots and emphasized the importance of preserving communal harmony in the state. Currently celebrating Bathukamma in the Nizamabad Parliamentary constituency, she continues to be an active voice in the political landscape.
