Balkonda, Nizamabad(Oct, 1): In a significant development for the Balkonda Constituency’s Velpur Mandal, a grant of Rs. 3 crore has been allocated for the development of a Muslim minority mosque within the constituency. State Roads and Buildings Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy, accompanied by State Home Minister Mahmood Ali, presented the grant proceedings to the mosque committee members during a gathering that saw over 2,000 Muslim minorities from across the constituency in attendance. The minority community expressed their strong support for Minister Vemula Prashant Reddy, displaying their unity and determination to secure a resounding victory in the upcoming elections.
Home Minister Mahmood Ali, on this occasion, lauded the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and emphasized that KCR’s rule in the state has been instrumental in promoting the welfare of minorities. Ali commended KCR as the country’s foremost secular leader who has tirelessly worked towards the development of Muslims.
Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy echoed these sentiments, underlining KCR’s commitment to providing quality education to Muslim children. He cited the establishment of residential schools with the aim of nurturing intellectual talents among Muslim youth, enabling them to excel in fields such as medicine, engineering, aviation, and science. Minister Prashanth Reddy detailed the substantial investments made in Gurukula schools, explaining that minority Gurukula schools have been established in Balkonda and Bhingal.
The gathering also saw the participation of several prominent figures, including Rajya Sabha member KR Suresh Reddy, Dr. Madhu Shekhar (Chairman of Health and Family Welfare Corporation), Imtiyaz (Chairman of Minority Finance Corporation), Muslim religious leaders, farmer leader Kotapati Narsimha Naidu, government officials, and local public representatives.
