Home Minister Mahmood Ali Leads Meeting to Address Crime in Hyderabad, Rachakonda, and Cyberabad

Hyderabad(Sep, 6) : Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali recently held a high-level meeting to discuss and review crime in the three police commissionerates of Hyderabad, Rachakonda, and Cyberabad. The meeting included top officials like the Principal Secretary for Home, the Director General of Police, and the Commissioners of Police. During the meeting, the Home Minister praised the Police Department for its efforts in making reforms and ensuring the safety and security of the people. He highlighted the department’s citizen-focused and technology-driven initiatives, which have earned it a good reputation across the country.

The Home Minister urged the police officials to take further steps to reduce various types of crimes, especially those related to violence, crimes against women, and murders. He also emphasized the importance of installing CCTV cameras in neighborhoods, sensitive areas, and junctions, along with preventing the spread of fake and provocative content on social media. The Home Minister encouraged regular crime reviews and staying updated on crime trends. He mentioned that the police department had been reorganized to adapt to the changing needs of effective policing and crime prevention. Additionally, he called for awareness programs to prevent cybercrimes due to the increased use of the internet. The meeting was attended by other high-ranking officials, including the Principal Secretary for Home, the DG of Police, and the Commissioners of Police for Hyderabad, Rachakonda, and Cyberabad
