Dubai(Sep, 5) : Industries Minister KT Rama Rao’s business trip to Dubai has yielded remarkable results. He engaged with several companies, seeking investments for Telangana, and the day proved highly productive, resulting in investments totaling over Rs. 1,040 crores across diverse sectors. One notable highlight was the LuLu Group’s announcement of its expansion plans in Telangana, with Chairman Yusuff Ali expressing gratitude for the state’s support. The LuLu Group intends to invest in the proposed Aqua Cluster in Sircilla district, focusing on cold storage and fish processing units, potentially creating jobs for 500 people.
DP World also pledged Rs. 215 crores for expanding its operations, including an Inland Container Depot in Hyderabad and a cold storage facility in Medchal. Naffco committed Rs. 700 crores to establish a manufacturing plant and a Fire Safety Training Academy in Telangana, aligning with India’s rapid growth. Finally, the Malabar Group, already active in the state, announced a Rs. 125 crore investment in a furniture manufacturing plant, showcasing their confidence in Telangana’s business environment. Minister KTR’s efforts have successfully attracted significant investments and opportunities for the state’s development.
