Hyderabad(Aug, 26): DCP Rachakonda Road Safety Sreebala achieved remarkable success at the World Police and Fire Games 2023, hosted in Winnipeg, Canada from July 28 to August 6. Displaying exceptional prowess, she secured 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal in table tennis, excelling in Women’s Singles 40+ (Bronze), Women’s Doubles 40+ (Silver), and Mixed Doubles 40+ (Silver) categories. Adding to her achievements, she also clinched 1 gold medal and 1 bronze medal in Badminton, triumphing in Women’s Singles 40+ (Gold) and Mixed Doubles 40+ (Bronze).
The World Police and Fire Games, held biennially in the spirit of the Olympic Games, drew the participation of over 8,000 athletes from over 70 countries. Diverse representatives from police departments and fire departments globally converged to compete across more than 60 sports. DCP Sreebala’s exceptional performance serves as a testament to her dedication and skill on the international stage.
