Residents Demand Action as Parking and Garbage Issues Persist in Hyderabad

Hyderabad : As Hyderabad experiences rapid development, it is accompanied by a multitude of challenges. One significant issue that has become increasingly problematic for the city’s residents is parking. Despite the availability of parking spaces in many large residential colonies, it is disheartening to witness cars consistently parked outside houses, causing immense inconvenience for commuters. This phenomenon is prevalent not only in wide streets spanning 20 to 25 feet but also in prominent colonies such as Bhagyalatha, Vanasthalipuram, Prashanthnagar, and Kamalanagar, Khairtabad, Ministers Colony & TolliChowki.

Additionally, the problem of garbage has also emerged as a pressing concern. In numerous colonies, garbage collection occurs only once or twice a week, forcing residents to dispose of their waste outside their homes. It is evident that this issue stems from the preference of garbage collectors for commercial establishments and hotels, as they yield higher profits. As a result, the common people bear the brunt of this problem. The lack of civility among individuals is evident, highlighting the urgent need for the government or the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to take significant steps towards finding a solution. Although social activists continuously warn the administration about these issues, the problems persist, necessitating immediate attention.
