Hyderabad(June, 3) : A delegation led by President of State Teachers Union (STU) Hyderabad district Mohammad Iftikharuddin met the President of Urdu Academy Khwaja Mujeebuddin. Submitted a memorandum expressing concern over transfer of money released by Urdu Academy to Sarva shiksha Abhiyan account for development of infrastructure in Urdu medium government schools. On which the president of Urdu Academy said that there is no need for Urdu teachers and teachers’ organizations to worry about it. In this regard, a discussion has been held with the top officials of Sarva shiksha Abhiyan and assured that the problem will be resolved very soon.
Apart from this, District Hyderabad STU President Mohammad Iftikharuddin appealed to President Urdu Academy to resume the scheme of scholarships for students of Urdu medium schools and organize Best Teacher Award ceremony for Urdu medium teachers. Khwaja Mujeebuddin responded positively by saying that the Telangana government is committed to providing basic facilities in Urdu medium government schools for the development of Urdu, whatever representations they are receiving. Special attention is being given. It is being discussed with ministers and senior officials.
Best teacher award ceremony will be organized by Urdu Academy very soon. Syed Habib, Mohammad Ejaz, Muhammad Tamiz, Mohammad Fayaz Khan and Shahid Ali Hasrat were present in the delegation of STU District Hyderabad.
