Vikarabad: Vikarabad District Superintendent of Police Sneha Mehra held a media conference at the SP office and presented crime statistics for the year 2024–2025. She informed that the district recorded a 3.31 per cent increase in crime cases, with 122 more cases registered compared to 2024. The SP said that despite the rise, the police have taken several proactive steps to maintain law and order and to effectively control criminal activities, with special focus on crimes against women.
SP Sneha Mehra also stated that local body elections in the district were conducted peacefully, reflecting effective coordination and preparedness of the police force. She emphasized that special teams, increased patrolling and swift action on complaints are being ensured to strengthen public safety. Extending her greetings, the SP wished the people of Vikarabad district a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and assured continued efforts to keep the district safe and secure.
