Traffic Advisory for Khairtabad Bada Ganesh Installation

Hyderabad(Sep, 17) : In preparation for the Installation of the Khairtabad Bada Ganesh from September 18th to September 28th, 2023, several traffic diversions will be in effect daily from 11:00 AM until late at night, depending on the influx of visitors for darshan of the Khairtabad Bada Ganesh Idol.

1. Traffic heading towards Mint Compound from Rajeev Gandhi Statue will be redirected at Rajeev Gandhi Statue towards Nirankari Junction.
2. Traffic from Rajdoot lane towards Bada Ganesh will be diverted at Rajdoot lane towards Iqbal Minar.
3. Traffic proceeding from Mint Compound towards IMAX Theatre will be rerouted at Mint Compound towards Telugu Thalli junction.
4. Traffic coming from Necklace Rotary towards Mint Compound will be directed at Necklace Rotary towards Telugu Thalli junction or Khairatabad flyover.
5. Traffic from Khairatabad Post Office lane heading towards Khairatabad Railway gate will be diverted at Post Office towards Old PS Saifabad junction.

Expected Traffic Congestion: Due to the significant number of devotees visiting Bada Ganesh, traffic congestion is anticipated at Khairtabad, Shadan College, Nirankari, Old PS Saifabad, Mint Compound, and Necklace Rotary junctions. Commuters are urged to avoid these routes during this period.

Parking Places: a) Visitors approaching Bada Ganesh darshan via Necklace Rotary and NTR Garden are advised to park their vehicles at parking places near IMAX Theatre, NTR Ghat, and NTR Garden, or opposite IMAX in School premises.

b) Visitors using personal vehicles for Bada Ganesh darshan are encouraged to approach through Necklace Rotary and avoid Khairtabad Junction Road and Rajdoot lane road.

Please note that the above restrictions will be enforced based on the number of devotees arriving for darshan of Khairtabad Bada Ganesh Idol. Citizens are kindly requested to use alternative routes to reach their destinations during the specified times and cooperate with the Traffic Police.
