Telangana Job Crisis: Kavitha Calls for Scrapping GOs 4, 29, 46, 81 & 108

Hyderabad : In Telangana, nearly 30 to 40 lakh unemployed youth around 10% of the state’s population are preparing for various government job examinations at any given time. Addressing a press conference, Telangana Jagruthi founder Kavitha Kalvakuntla accused the Congress leadership of exploiting the aspirations of these youth for political gain.

She alleged that Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy made lofty promises, including providing 2 lakh jobs ahead of the 2023 elections, but failed to deliver after coming to power. According to her, even a job calendar has not been released in the last two and a half years, reflecting a lack of seriousness and commitment from the government.

Highlighting administrative hurdles, Kavitha pointed to several Government Orders that she claims are obstructing recruitment processes. She specifically demanded the immediate revocation of GO 4 (Degree Lecturers), GO 108 (DSC), GO 29 (impacting SC, ST, and BC youth), GO 46 (police jobs), and GO 81 (Gurukuls). She alleged that these GOs are causing injustice to lakhs of educated unemployed youth and criticized the government for failing to engage in dialogue or review these issues.
