President of India’s Visit to Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Urges Comprehensive Preparations

Hyderabad(Dec, 13) : Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari has instructed officials to ensure proper coordination and make elaborate arrangements for the upcoming visit of the President of India, Draupadi Murmu, to Hyderabad. In a meeting with various department officials, the Chief Secretary took stock of the preparations for the President’s visit, scheduled for the 18th of this month as part of her annual visit to the city.

The President will be in Hyderabad for five days, departing on the 23rd of this month. The Police department has been tasked with ensuring adequate security, traffic management, and overall arrangements. Additionally, health, R&B, municipal, energy, and other departments were directed to make foolproof arrangements following the guidelines outlined in the blue book. The meeting was attended by DGP Ravi Gupta, Special Chief Secretary Sunil Sharma, Secretary GAD Seshadri, Secretary Health Rizvi, senior police officers, and officials from various line departments.
