Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad Inaugurates “Rhino Food Court” to Enhance Visitor Experience
Hyderabad : In a significant move to upgrade the facilities at Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad, the newly constructed “Rhino Food Court” was inaugurated today by R.M. Dobriyal, IFS, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (HoFF), Telangana. Located adjacent to the Rhinoceros enclosure, the Rhino Food Court is a part of the Forest Department’s first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project. This new food court, operated by Mrugavani Restaurants and Resorts, can cater to over 300 visitors, offering a range of snacks, lunch, soft drinks, ice creams, tea, and coffee, all while enjoying the sight of live wild animals roaming in their enclosures.
The food court has been leased to Mrugavani Restaurants and Resorts for a tenure of 10 years. During the inauguration, Dobriyal highlighted that the zoo is a favorite destination for wildlife and nature enthusiasts, and this initiative will enhance the visitor experience with quality, hygienic food. He also appreciated the significant contributions made by various officials, including Elusing Meru, PCCF P&V CWLW, Dr. Suvarna, PCCF HH & CEO CAMPA, Dr. Sunil Hiremath, Director Zoo Parks, and Vasantha, Curator, in bringing the project to fruition.
