Medak(June, 9) : On the occasion of the National Mega Lok Adalat to be held on the 10th of this month, consultations should be held for both the plaintiff and the accused to reach a compromise in the cases. These views were expressed by District SP Rohini Priya Darshani IPS.
The SP directed the district court Si’s to list the cases in which there is a possibility of compromise, and challenge the SHOs of each police station to compromise in the National Lok Adalat. Call the judiciary cases and both the parties involved in the cases for counselling. They want to settle more and more cases in the Mega Lok Adalat. People living in the same village always come together not to destroy lives with petty cases which are negotiable cases to be called and told in such a way that they understand that there is a way of compromise. She said that everyone should work hard so that a compromise can be reached on all the listed cases. It is proposed to liaise with and perform duties with judicial officials.
She said that it should be seen that more and more cases are disposed of in the Lok Adalat. It has been suggested that witnesses should be briefed to convict criminals in POCSO, murder, rape and other serious cases. It is suggested that everyone performing the duties of the court should fulfill their responsibilities and the percentage of conviction in the cases should be increased. These settlement matters will be held by the National Lok Adalat on 10.06.2023 from 10 AM to 5 PM in the premises of Medak Court Complex, Medak Town.
