Hyderabad, Ravindra Bharati :Â State Excise, Sports, Tourism, Culture, Archeology, and Youth Services Minister Dr. V. Srinivas Goud held a meeting at his camp office to commemorate International Olympic Day. During the event, the Minister unveiled plans for the Olympic Run, which will be organized jointly by the Sports Authority of Telangana, Telangana Olympic Association, and Hyderabad District Olympic Association. The run will take place on the 23rd of this month, starting from 15 prominent centers in Hyderabad and culminating at the renowned Lal Bahadur Stadium.
Joining Dr. V. Srinivas Goud at the program were Dr. Anjaneya Goud, SAT Chairman, Ravula Sridhar Reddy, Chairman of the Olympic Day Run Steering Committee, Dr. SR Prem Raj and Lu Maheshwar as Conveners, Jagadishwar Yadav, General Secretary of Mallareddy Olympic Association, and representatives from various sports associations.
The Olympic Run aims to promote the spirit of sportsmanship, athleticism, and the Olympic values among the people of Telangana. It serves as a tribute to the International Olympic Day, which is celebrated worldwide to commemorate the founding of the modern Olympic Games.
