Major Reshuffle: 18 IPS Officers Get New Postings in State Government Shake-up”

Hyderabad(Dec, 19) : In a significant reshuffle, the State government reassigned 18 IPS officers on Wednesday. While one officer has been directed to report to the DGP office, another has been given additional responsibilities.

Among the officers with new postings, Ravi Gupta has been appointed to DGP Coordination and will also hold the Full Additional Charge of DGP (Head of Police Force). Anjani Kumar assumes the role of Chairman, Road Safety Authority, Telangana, and additionally holds the Full Additional Charge of Commissioner, Printing and Stationary, Telangana.

Rajiv Ratan now serves as Director General Vigilance and Enforcement, and CV Anand as Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Telangana. Abhilasha Bisht is the new Director of Dr. RBVRR Telangana State Police Academy, Hyderabad, and also holds the Full Additional Charge of Inspector General of Police, Training, Telangana.

Dr. Soumya Mishra takes on the position of Director General, Prisons and Correctional Services, Telangana, while Shikha Goel is appointed as Addl. DGP, CID, Telangana, with the Full Additional Charge of Director, TS Cyber Security Bureau, Addl. DGP, Technical Services, and Director, TSFSL, Hyderabad.

Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat is posted as Addl. DGP, Railways & Road Safety, Telangana, and also holds the Full Additional Charge of Addl. DGP Organization & Legal, Telangana. Dr. Anil Kumar is appointed as Director General, Telangana Special Protection Force.

M. Stephen Raveendra is now IGP, Home Guards, Telangana, with the Full Additional Charge of Addl. DGP, Welfare & Sports. Dr. Tarun Joshi is posted as IGP, Multi zone-II, and holds the Full Additional Charge of IGP, Multi Zone I. V. B. Kamalasan Reddy serves as Director General, Drug Control, and also holds the Full Additional Charge of Director Prohibition and Excise. A. R. Srinivas is now Director, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Telangana. S Chandrasekhar Reddy is appointed as Inspector General of Police, Personnel, Telangana. K. Ramesh Naidu is posted as DIG Crime Investigation Department. V. Satyanarayana takes on the role of Joint Commissioner of Police, CAR Headquarters, Hyderabad. B. Sumathi is appointed as Deputy Inspector General of Police, SIB, Intelligence. Sharat Chandra Pawar is now Deputy Commissioner of Police, (central), Hyderabad.

M. Srinivasulu has been directed to report to the Director General of Police, Telangana office, while the 2006 batch IPS officer M. Ramesh is placed in Full Additional Charge of Director, Telangana State Police Housing Corporation.
