Hyderabad : The law enforcement community mourns the loss of Director General of Vigilance and Enforcement, Rajiv Ratan, who passed away unexpectedly due to a heart attack while undergoing treatment at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad. Esteemed IPS officers paid their respects at the hospital, deeply saddened by the untimely demise of their colleague known for his competence, gentle demeanor, and unwavering commitment to duty.
Despite nearing retirement in six months, his sudden passing has left a profound void among peers. State DGP Ravi Gupta and several others visited the hospital to offer condolences to Rajiv Ratan’s family. Funeral arrangements are underway for Wednesday afternoon at Mahaprasthanam in Sheikh Peta, where colleagues and loved ones will bid farewell to the respected IPS officer, who served diligently in various capacities throughout his career, leaving an indelible mark on the law enforcement landscape.
