Hyderabad(Nov, 19) : Speaking at the Future Forward Telangana program in Hyderabad, BRS Working President KTR emphasized the importance of women’s involvement in shaping policies. He announced the creation of a women’s manifesto, to be drafted by women themselves, urging them to contribute ideas about government services they need.
KTR pledged to operate free shuttle services from Metro stations, especially at night, for passenger convenience. He also committed to developing a manifesto exclusively for women, offering lower-interest loans to women entrepreneurs in urban areas. KTR highlighted initiatives like WE-Hub and women’s industrial parks, underscoring the government’s commitment to women’s empowerment. He discussed plans for a cybercrime legislation to address offenses on social media and announced a toll-free number for women to lodge complaints.
KTR praised the state’s achievements, from providing safe drinking water to establishing minority schools, contributing to women’s economic empowerment. He expressed admiration for women’s mental fortitude, acknowledging their resilience and strength.
