Hyderabad: In a sharp critique of recent political developments, BJP spokesperson N V Subhash commented on the apparent connection between the bail granted to Kavitha, supported by “experienced Congress lawyers,” and KCR’s backing of the Congress candidate in the Rajya Sabha elections. Subhash suggested this is a clear case of “quid pro quo,” openly questioning whether KCR might even go so far as to merge his beleaguered BRS with the Congress party.
He also challenged those who had accused the BJP of aligning with BRS to reconsider in light of these events, urging them to question the Telangana government on the lack of progress in various scam investigations.
