Hyderabad : BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha, who returned to Hyderabad after five and a half months, was greeted with an unprecedented welcome. Kavitha, who was released from jail on Tuesday, traveled to Hyderabad on Wednesday afternoon, accompanied by her brother, former minister KTR, her husband Anil, son Aditya, and other BRS leaders.
BRS activists and leaders warmly welcomed MLC Kavitha upon her arrival at Shamshabad Airport at 5:30 PM. Supporters chanted slogans like “KCR Zindabad… BRS Zindabad… Jai Telangana.” Kavitha then proceeded to her residence in Banjara Hills in a grand rally, where activists greeted her with firecrackers. At her residence, she expressed her gratitude to the supporters and fans.
Upon reaching home, MLC Kavitha paid respects to her mother, Shobhamma, and shared an emotional embrace with her. She also tied a rakhi to her brother KTR as a symbol of their bond.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, Kavitha stated that truth and justice had prevailed. She expressed her gratitude to KCR, her family, and everyone who supported her during this difficult time.
“I have always believed that I would emerge unscathed, like a washed pearl, as I have done nothing wrong. Justice will always prevail. I will continue to fight for the people’s issues under KCR’s leadership. From now on, I will actively participate in BRS activities and work strongly in the public sector. I have faith and confidence that I will be vindicated in this case,” MLC Kavitha remarked.
She also expressed happiness at returning to Telangana and her home.
