Hyderabad : A review meeting was held at the Purani Haveli office with South Zone police officials under the chairmanship of C.V. Anand, IPS, DG and Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, to discuss security measures and police arrangements for Ganesh idol immersion.
The Commissioner reviewed lapses from previous years and directed officials to take strict precautions in view of both Ganesh immersion and the Milad un Nabi festival. He emphasized the need for an action plan to ensure smooth and speedy transportation of idols for immersion.
The meeting was attended by Sneha Mehra, IPS (DCP South Zone), K. Apoorva Rao, IPS (DCP S.B.), R. Venkateshwarlu, IPS (DCP Traffic), Task Force officers, and officials from all police stations of the South Zone.
