Hyderabad(Nov, 14) : Hyderabad District Congress Committee President Sameer Waliullah strongly criticized the Owaisi brothers, particularly AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi and MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, for resorting to personal attacks on Congress leaders, especially TPCC President A Revanth Reddy.
Waliullah, speaking to the media during the election campaign in Charminar constituency, accused the Owaisi brothers of using indecent language instead of addressing the real issues. He asserted that their personal attacks were an attempt to divert attention from their own performance and developmental activities in the Old City. Waliullah emphasized that the Congress party, focused on public issues, has been receiving positive responses to its promises, including affordable gas cylinders, financial support for women, free bus travel and electricity, house sites, and construction aid for homeless people.
He urged MIM leaders to introspect their election approach, emphasizing that elections are an opportunity to discuss public problems and evaluate performance rather than engaging in personal mudslinging. Waliullah affirmed that the Congress will continue its campaign to expose the alleged failures of MIM and the BRS government.
