Hyderabad City Police Announces Traffic Changes and Parking Guidelines for Bonalu Jatara

Hyderabad(July, 7) : In connection with the “SRI UJJAINI MAHANKALI BONALU JATARA” at Secunderabad, the Hyderabad City Police has announced traffic diversions and parking arrangements from 00:00 hours on 08/09-07-2023 until the conclusion of the Jatara on 10-07-2023. The public is advised to avoid certain roads and junctions in the specified areas during this period, including Karbala Maidan, Ranigunj, Old PS Ramgopalpet, Paradise, CTO, Plaza, SBI X Road, YMCA, X Roads, St. Johns Rotary, Sangeeth X Road, Patny X Road, Park lane, Bata, Ghasmandi X Roads, Bible house, Ministers Road, and Rasoolpura.

Passengers planning to travel by train from Secunderabad railway station are advised to start their journeys early due to expected traffic congestion, with an alternate entry point suggested from platform no. 10 via Chilkalguda side. There will likely be traffic congestion within a 2 km radius of the Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Temple in Secunderabad.

During the specified period, certain roads leading to the temple and surrounding areas will be closed for all vehicular traffic. The public is urged to follow diversion points and alternative routes for smooth traffic flow. Additionally, specific parking places have been designated for devotees depending on their arrival routes.
