Hyderabad : A monsoon preparedness meeting was convened at the Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre (TGiCCC), Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, under the leadership of Director V.B. Kamalasan Reddy, IPS (Retd.). Key officials from GHMC, Hyderabad Collectorate, Fire Services, Police Commissionerates, TGSPDCL, HMWS&SB, and other departments participated to discuss strategies for flood monitoring, traffic management, power restoration, public health, and emergency response across 141 waterlogging hotspots in the city.
The meeting emphasized proactive deployment of field teams, coordinated use of TGiCCC’s real-time monitoring systems, and the promotion of the SACHET mobile app. A call was made to form a Joint Action Team (JAT) to ensure seamless coordination during the monsoon season, with all departments committing to work in synergy for citizen safety.
