Hyderabad(Jan, 4) :Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) management convened a meeting with hire bus owners at Bus Bhavan in Hyderabad on Thursday. During the discussion, five key issues were brought to the attention of the organization, prompting the TSRTC to announce the formation of a high-level committee to thoroughly assess the feasibility of resolving these challenges. The recommendations provided by the committee will be carefully examined by the management, and decisions will be made accordingly. The hire bus owners responded positively to this initiative.
Earlier in the day, the hire bus owners had sought the intervention of Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar to address their concerns. Following their meeting, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar communicated with TSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar, resulting in the directive to establish a high-level committee dedicated to investigating the issues raised by the hire bus owners.
Addressing the situation, TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar stated, “The hired bus owners have brought some issues to the attention of the TSRTC management. They said that they are facing difficulties after the implementation of Mahalakshmi scheme. A long discussion was held today with the top officials of the company. It was decided to set up a high-level committee as per the directions of Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar. The committee examines all aspects from a scientific point of view. The organization compiles the data of buses and hire buses and takes a decision. Hire bus owners have responded positively to this.”
The meeting was attended by TSRTC Chief Vigilance Officer Dr. Ravinder, Executive Directors Munishekhar, Krishnakanth, Vinod Kumar, Venkateshwarlu, Finance Adviser Vijaya Pushpha, CME Raghunatha Rao, CTM Jeevan Prasad, and other key officials, indicating a collective effort to address and resolve the concerns raised by the hire bus owners
