Andhra Pradesh 3 capital issue –
The Supreme Court will hear on March 28 the matter of retaining Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. The court will continue to hear petitions regarding the plan for three capitals of Andhra Pradesh. Justice K.M. Joseph and Justice B.V. Nagaratna had recently heard a batch of petitions filed on the issue. The AP government had challenged the decision of the AP High Court in the case of the proposed three capitals and sought a stay on the decision of the High Court.
