Hyderabad : The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has successfully apprehended MV Bhoopal Reddy, Joint Collector, and Senior Assistant Y. Madan Mohan Reddy from the Rangareddy District Collectorate for their involvement in a bribery scheme.
The officials were caught red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 8,00,000 from a complainant in exchange for removing 14 guntas of land from the prohibited list on the Dharani portal. Despite taking numerous precautions to evade detection, the ACB’s team, through meticulous planning and overnight strategy, managed to trap the duo in the act.
