Fit India on the Move: 2.5 Lakh Join Nationwide Cycling Drive

Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Rahul Bose Lead ‘Fit India Sundays on Cycle’ Movement

New Delhi : To promote a healthy lifestyle and clean air, Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya led the ‘Fit India Sundays on Cycle’ initiative in Rajkot, cycling alongside over 200 volunteers from NYKS and NSS. Simultaneously in New Delhi, actor and Rugby India president Rahul Bose joined over 600 fitness enthusiasts at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium for a vibrant morning of Zumba, rope skipping, and cycling.

Dr. Mandaviya Cycles with Youth in Rajkot to Promote Fitness and Awareness

The nationwide movement, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports in collaboration with Cycling Federation of India and MY Bharat, saw participation from more than 5000 locations since December 2024, uniting lakhs of citizens—including sportspersons, armed forces, and celebrities—under one banner for fitness and community bonding.
