Dr. Sravan Slams CM Revanth’s ‘Camouflage Inquiry’ into Farmer Chaining Incident

Hyderabad : BRS Senior leader Dr. Sravan Dasoju has criticized Telangana CM Revanth Reddy’s inquiry into the chaining of tribal farmer Hirya Naik in Vikarabad district as a mere “eyewash.” Alleging a systematic suppression of tribal farmers opposing land acquisitions, Dr. Dasoju highlighted the inhumane treatment of Naik, including being handcuffed in hospital despite his heart condition.

He demanded immediate specialized medical care, expedited bail for detained farmers, and compliance with constitutional and Supreme Court directives. Dr. Dasoju also urged the NHRC to investigate alleged human rights violations, accusing the state government of using oppressive tactics to silence dissent.
